Company History

Cedar Valley Exteriors was established in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1998 by two entrepreneurs in the re-roofing industry.  Over the past 12 years, Cedar Valley Exteriors grew by helping property owners affected by damaging weather conditions – hail, wind and hurricanes.  We have worked in 28 states and responded to small and large hail storms, along with working most major hurricane catastrophes. 

Today, we have grown to be one of America’s leading Exterior Restoration Companies.  While continuing to be specialists in exterior insurance restoration, we have also expanded our business offerings to include all exterior solutions needed by our customers, residential home owners as well as commercial properties.

Company Ownership

In 2008, CMS Companies became the majority shareholder of Cedar Valley Exteriors, LP.  Through its investment came the commitment to ensure the company’s future growth and enhance the customer service offerings by the company.  CMS is experienced in contractor investments and has a track record of successful growth of national, midsize companies.

Cedar Valley Exterior’s corporate headquarters is located in a north suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our experienced and specialized departments focus on each phase of a customer’s reconstruction project. We have experts for each unique job stage and construction trade. With proven systems and processes, we are capable of servicing customers proficiently and economically, as well as supporting our field sales teams and production crews.
